The scale is intense. Because they’re made up of MEGA blocks you feel minuscule and mining regular materials just got a whole lot weirder. Full-size villagers look tiny on the skyblock surface and bridging out to new skyblocks looks close, but as you get closer and closer you realize how truly massive they are.

Infinity Skyblock FAQ & More

Infinity Skyblock is off to an amazing start. I’ve never seen so many people in the first week downloading and having such a great time in the map. I’ve been loving all the messages and comments people have been sending my way on twitter and in the youtube channel so keep them coming.

There’s a few questions people have been asking so I made a quick video answering your frequently asked questions.

What’s better than one skyblock? Ten skyblocks? How about millions of skyblocks?! Take the Infinity Skyblock challenge and gather the Infinity Crystals to power up the skyblock randomizer to create a totally unique survival experience.

Yeah but… how many skyblocks are there actually? No really, when the core is fully powered, there’s millions of possible combinations. The shape is random, it can be any biome, randomised ore and much, much more. Check out the trailer where you can see it all in action.

But Jig… I hear you ask. What exactly is a skyblock?

A skyblock map is a kind of survival map where instead of vanilla terrain you’re floating high in the air. The typical survival things are done like gathering materials, making tools like pickaxes and things like that but materials are a lot harder to come by. Normally skyblocks are restricted to 1 or maybe a couple of “skyblocks” floating in the void and the world is always the same.

This map is different, however, new skyblocks keep generating around you so you always have new areas to explore and gather materials. Building farms, houses and builds are a lot more different when you have a risk of falling to your death XD.

There is another challenge in this map too. There are certain skyblocks that appear where you collect infinity crystals. When you return these to the core, it increases the randomizers capabilities so there are even more different biomes, shapes, caves and things to explore.
