So Minecon 2013 happened and I was there. It was a tonne of fun and I got to meet some really cool people. I was also on the custom map panel with a bunch of other very talented map creators. I did make a whole series of videos from the perspective of an every day person… because that’s what I am. Sorry, you wont find any cool interviews or nice editing with your favorite minecraft youtubers, but what you will find are short videos showcasing the things I either found amusing or interesting.

How to Install a Minecraft Map and Texture Pack. (for Windows)
I got tired of people telling me there is no texture pack, or that they didn’t know how to install maps or whatever. So this is how you do it with the maps that I make. I am using Windows 7, but this method should also work on Windows Vista (lol) and probably even Windows 8.
Why the background music? I don’t like my own voice and thought it could keep it a little more entertaining!

Invisible Block Comparison in Vanilla Minecraft 1.5.1!
There are a whole host of invisible blocks, and methods for barriers now available. Here are all the ones I know about. I show you how to make invisible force fields for your custom map, some can be broken, some can’t. Here is the full rundown. For all of them you have to use MCedit to place (or voxel tools or worldedit) However, the resulting blocks can be used in custom maps that will work 100% with vanilla Minecraft.
